They offer their own delivery services, and they charge for it, it’s not free. Depending on the product, you’ll either pay $49 or $99 for the delivery.

Update 11/4/19: 3-6 business days for Jb delivery department to submit a return to the delivery service. Also, 3-7 business days for the delivery service to call with a date and time.
I’m currently stuck with an unraveling sofa and wobbly chair; and a missing (never delivered) ottoman.

Ordered a couch, chair, and ottoman on 9/11/19 and barely received the couch and chair on 11/1/19.
Joybird swapped labels on the ottoman before shipping so the delivery guys had another item in the box. Never received the ottoman. Jb wanted to file an investigation which could take another 2 weeks.
The couch, seam is unraveling and the wood frame came with dings and scratches.
The chair is unbalanced and very wobbly.
7 weeks and $2500 later and everything is a mess. Called for a full return and refund. They said now I have to wait up to 10 business days for them to come pickup their disfigured furniture.

I was looking forward to purchasing several pieces of Joybird furniture. I was waiting for the Black Friday sale that they were touting as being “The Biggest Sale Ever!” I went to purchase my pieces and they had increased the prices by 10% for the “Sale.” I would have been better off buying with a lower discount last week. Bad form, Joybird!!! I am not buying from a company who tries to trick their customers.
Chair donut hole
I wish that I could give Joybird a 5. All of the ratings besides QUALITY I would give a 4 or 5. But the QUALITY of the inside of the cushions is NOT HIGH END…it’s a 1. It’s really low end and not what I expected. The Lewis sectional we bought looks like the online shape and fabric but the cushions do not.
After sitting on the chair section of the sectional, there’s always a hole in it…as in it doesn’t return to it’s shape. And we’re both only 145 lbs.. And don’t sit on each other’s laps!:).
I took pictures and sent them to your customer service team and they wouldn’t replace the cushions.
So, buyer please be aware of my situation and disappointment about the product.

Low quality, terrible service
When we eventually had a Joybird bed delivered and assembled, the installers were unable to put it completely together due to missing hardware, and then were unable to take it back apart due to hardware getting stuck. I was left with a partially assembled bed and no response from customer support for weeks. We bought misfit hardware and modified multiple parts of the bed (drilling holes, pouring epoxy, repairing upholstery – many hours) to finally get the bed put together. The tufting on the back was so bad that my partner nearly cried – we had waited so long, and had sent away our previous bed to make room for when this one was delivered. New sheets to match, you get the idea. Anyway customer support refused to consider any kind of compensation for the damage caused until they sent a technician out – took weeks for that to happen, and the guy wasn’t sure why he was even there – the reported upholstery issues were not addressable, and all the work we had done ourselves was the same sort of the thing the technician would have had to do. No follow up, of course, so when we finally got a response again from customer support, they offered $85 for a refund (~5%) and after escalation to support management, increased it to $260 (~15%)… mind you we spent many hours actively dealing with this faulty product, and now 4 months dealing with customer service, and spent more than $100 out of pocket just on parts and tools). We have the choice to get a full refund, which would mean buying a new bed, incurring the trouble of dealing with the removal, the knowledge that the material would all be thrown away, and no payment for our expenses or trouble. Joybird knows exactly what they are – cheap parts, cheap labor, inconsistent quality control, and indifferent leadership – because if they started caring then they couldn’t compete on price… so consumers pay for it. Never do business with, or buy any product from Joybird.
In less than a year, our black Elliot Leather sofa had worn to the point that it looked like the type of old sofa that’s advertised for free on Craigslist. There are only two people in our household, and we sit on this sofa for a maximum of two hours per day. On each of the arms, the ‘leather’ – if it’s even really leather – had worn off and turned gray within months, the seats have scratched horribly, the seams have stretched, and the buttons have come loose, and this is all within two years. We are in doubt of whether this is real leather, as other leather products we own have never worn like this, and so quickly.
Prior to purchasing this Joybird disaster, we had a Crate & Barrel sofa that still looked great after more than 10 years. The leather aged beautifully, as real leather should. I really regret getting rid of that couch and buying this failed attempt at high-end, quality modern furniture, and constantly have the reminder staring at me each time I enter our living room.
Our experience with Joybird customer service has been equally horrible. The amount of time it took to receive a response from the customer service team – a week and a half for just the initial response – was absolutely unreasonable and disappointing, and now, six months after our first contact, we still haven’t reached a resolution. The most effort they have gone to is sending some leather conditioner and claiming this is “normal wear”.
Normal wear for vinyl, maybe.
Joybird, please stop misleading and exploiting your customers. This was our most expensive purchase for our new house and it’s so disappointing and so anger-inducing to be mislead in terms of quality for the price point. Customers who are considering purchasing a Joybird piece, DO NOT. If you don’t end up disappointed with the subpar quality, you will be disappointed with the horrific customer service.
I am ending this review with a quote from another disappointed reviewer that really says it all, “My family’s investment with Joybird has been a loss aesthetically and financially.”
