Since Wayfair is a store that offers more than 10 mln products, it may be hard for them to perform a quality check of every product they sell as a retailer. Please note that they do not ship to P.O. boxes and military APOs. Usually, it takes 2-4 days for the product to be delivered depending on the state you live in. This is considered a reasonable turn-around period.

Delivery Nigtmare
I ordered a sofa sleeper from wayfair recently. First off I have ordered many hings from them and have never had a complaint I like their product and service until today. My sofa was delivered and literally left at our front gate! I asked the guy why wasn’t he bringing inside as I was told by Wayfair, he said due to the recent thing with COVID-19 that they couldn’t come into our home. k understand but was still uset because my husband and I are both Seniors nd unable to lift. So I called Wayfair and he bacically told me the same thing. I DO understand, but the last you coul have done was call us and le us know that you coull not let the delivery people in our house, he syas yes we should have, do you have friends or family that could help? I said yes e have family but like yours they are all home staying there distance, I guess not really his fault but a heads up wouldn’t have hurt!

The least they could have done was offer an additional discount!
I recently purchased two items that I have yet to receive and in checking the tracking I noticed a price reduction. And the so called original price isnât even what I paid!! So I called customer service and asked for a price adjustment and she replied that Wayfair doesnât guarantee their prices! I would have to go thru the hassle of return and repurchase!! This is very poor customer service. Not sure I will shop here again. Too bad, I used to love Wayfair.
I have bought quite a lot of things from Wayfair and have always been happy with Item and delivery.
I don’t normally shop around but after seeing a few things cheaper on other sites I will do so in future.
I have been looking for a storage box for the garden and saw one on Wayfair for ÂŁ112. The exact same one is on Argos for ÂŁ30 I am gobsmacked at the price difference and in future I will compare prices.
I ordered outdoor furniture set with cushions, hand/bath towels, set of 2 curtains, Shower Curtain, Shower Hooks. So happy with it all, quality, price, delivery etc.

This is a fantastic company to work with. We ordered a desk which arrived damaged in the mail. The refund was unbelievably easy and their customer service was fantastic. I will definitely purchase from Wayfair again.
I ordered two 6’x9′ rugs in January. They came folded and still have obvious fold lines after they’ve been on the floor for 3 months. Not happy at all! Didn’t submit for return within time frame as I thought they’d flatten out. Guess I’m stuck.
I ordered a sofa bed I received it about a month late the delivery was horrible after a month the sofa started peeling. I complained and was told my sofa pillows will be here by April 10 this is may 2 and still no pillows
Hi we bought a queen size bed frame , and the furniture is a piece of junk quality we have had it 3 month Now itâs just the worst bed cheapest quality ever , so disappointed , this stores quality is really misleading ! I do not recommend your furnitures to anyone !
Defective item
Sounds like many have had good experience but I certainly have not. I received damaged shelves right out of the box. I went to ask for a replacement – 1 month later I would get them! This is not exceptable to me. I went to return them but it is going to cost me $10 for their defective item to be returned. I should not have to pay for a defective item to be returned! Since this was my first purchase and a very bad experience, I am unable to recommend this site nor will I be buying from them again.

I waited 2 months for a couch that I was told was in stock, then told, when I CANCELLED THE ORDER, that the couch did not actually exist. It was delayed four times, three of which I was put on an hour long wait as I tried to get in contact with customer services. Then, they only gave me a total of $70 off and refused to go past that.Â
Patio umbrella
I ordered a patio umbrella, quite expensive, and I have received the base, but no umbrella. I waited on the phone for an hour for customer service. Just isnât right…fedex told me that a âlabel had been createdâ, but fedex did not have the actual carton yet. I have gotten no updates from wayfair, which they usually do. And I donât want my money sitting in their account when I have no merchandise! Iâm so disappointed and frustrated. Takes me a while to get to this point as Iâm very patient, but this is annoying and wastes precious time. I understand that during the pandemic, things may be delayed and staff may be less than usual, but…not to this degree when a company is holding someoneâs money. đ€š

I ordered a item from Wayfair because of a feature their on line description had in 3 different areas of the description. It arrived without the feature. I have spent over 45 minutes on the phone 5 different times and never gotten anyone to answer. I tried using their online system to handle the problem. I sent them 7 different pictures of screen shots and a letter. Nothing was answered. Finally I checked my account and discovered that they had cancelled my complaint. I only got canned emails saying they were looking at it, not that it was cancelled or that I needed to do more. In my opinion they are thieves and this is nothing but a scam. You are better off buying from a local store or a reputable online business. Wayfair is not reputable. Fool me once shame on them. Fool me twice shame on me. I won’t order from them again. I suggest you do the same.
Crappy Customer Service
I have been waiting for my couch to arrive for almost 3 weeks. I got an email saying it was delivered to the delivery partner in Kentwood Mi and I would receive an email within 2 business days about a delivery date. It was Saturday when they received my couch and it is now Wednesday. No email, no call, nothing. So I called them and the lady was VERY rude. I asked her if they had a delivery date for my couch and she said no, it won’t be soon because they’re busy. I told her that I got an email stating they received it on Saturday and she says ” well we’re not here on Saturdays.” In a very crappy tone. I’ve been waiting almost 3 weeks. The first couch I ordered was cancelled a week and a half after ordering because It was no longer in stock. When it originally said it was in stock.

Not a great first time experience
I’m Percy from Washington State. We know things won’t be perfect but when you wait 3+ weeks for an Item you’d think they would put it together with little to no issues. On top of that you’ll be in the phone for more than 2 hours trying to speak to customer service then get hung up on just to have to call back and hold again like I’m doing now. The only good new was that the delivery team called 30 mins ahead of delivering and we’re on time. Remember that they send your item to the delivery team then they email you to schedule it for delivery. Which I didn’t get the email. I found out the hard way but checking the order status and it show I had to schedule my delivery time. Bad experience for a first time home buyer and first time Wayfair user. Currently still on hold.

Very bad customer service
Well I ordered 2 side tables and one of them has a drawer that sticks, I don’t have time to wait an hour to talk to customer service, then I’ve been waiting 2 months for a shower curtain that they keep putting a different delivery date. I also read in the consumer report magazine a lot of people complained about buying furniture from this place because they had bed bugs in them. So after that, I will not be buying anything from them again!

It’s understandable when a customer makes a mistake in placing an order, to make them responsible for the disposal/return shipping.
However, I ordered a single item, which came in two boxes. The “sectional” part of the sectional sofa was delivered TWICE. The main portion of the sofa was nowhere to be found and I had no way of knowing until it was too late.
They are in the process of shipping me the correct piece, which is apparently delayed. So I was left with half of my couch, an extra half that I did not need and they are leaving me to haul/dispose of the excess piece out of pocket.
I will never be doing business with Wayfair again. Overstock has exponentially better customer service. One and done.
